Keep Texas Red founder tells Alex Newman: Democrats are exploiting human emotions to make people vote for them

The Democrats are exploiting human emotions to make people vote for them, according to Keep Texas Red founder and author Joseph Vargas.

“We use a lot of the emotion and that’s something that works very well with Hispanics. And pretty much it works with any other race, but they use emotion to make other people, especially Hispanics, feel like they’re actually being part of a greater cause. It’s something that’s for the common good,” Vargas told host Alex Newman during a recent episode of “The Sentinel Report.”

“They also use a lot of negative branding and this selective outrage. And they always change the definition of language. So you take these things, you have the change in manipulation of emotion, negative branding, selective outrage and language, then you have what I call the Democrat modus operandi, Latin for the mode of operating, which is usually used to refer to criminal activity.”

Vargas pointed out that when Democrats pursue one of their leftist agenda, they attach something that is for the greater good, but with a deceitful purpose so that more people will follow it. He added that Democrats always try to reach out to the Hispanic community by telling them that most conservatives or Republicans are racists and that they don’t like them in their state.

According to Vargas, Democrats and liberals always attach emotion to anything that they want to pursue but don’t talk about important issues like crime and human trafficking at the border. He stressed that when it comes to Democrats, facts and figures don’t matter and they just go with the emotion part.

“The Sentinel Report” host agreed with Vargas, saying Democrats manipulate Americans with “emotionalism.”

People should expose Democrats’ tactics, educate the public

Vargas, also a political strategist and commentator, explained that there are two steps to stop the abuse and manipulation of the Democrats.

First, he said, people should expose what is happening. The author of the book entitled “The Democrat Modus Operandi” pointed out that people need to expose the tactic of the Left.

The second phase, Vargas said, is to educate the public. The founder of Keep Texas Red said when you educate the public, you are going to start talking about the true facts. He added that people must know what is actually going on and why Democrats are using this specific technique.

Vargas said when the issue of illegal immigration is pushed against the Democrats, the first thing that they do is “call you a racist or xenophobic because that is part of their game.” (Related: Democrats NO LONGER screaming for open borders thanks to Coronavirus.)

The author-lecturer also indicated that a lot of people are not aware of the Democrat modus operandi and don’t know how to counter it. Vargas told Newman that there is a problem with election integrity in Texas and it needs to be looked at. He said Texans need to get people that are actually committed to changing it and that these people who are going to be elected must not be afraid to take on the Democrats.

“You have to get people that are in there, that are actually going to be courageous fighters and are going to push back. So that’s going to be up to us. As the voters in Texas and pretty much every other state across the country, you’re gonna have to elect courageous conservatives that are not afraid to push back against the Democrats,” Vargas said.

Vargas also clarified that when he said keep Texas red he was talking about true conservatives. “We are not a rubber stamp for people that claim to be conservatives, but their election, the way they vote shows something different. So when we say Keep Texas Red, we’re talking about keeping it conservative,” Vargas explained.
